Amika Rai is a seasoned Director of Cloud QA & DevOps at UBS, with over 15 years of relevant experience in the field of software testing, automation, and quality assurance. She is also a passionate Sustainable Soft Engineering Enthusiast. Amika has a strong background in manual and automated testing, using tools like Selenium RC/Web driver, HP Quick Test Professional, Junit/Testing, Load Runner, Neoload, AQ Time, Quality Center, JIRA, and Zephyr, among others. She is well-versed in different phases of the STLC, including test planning, test design, test data identification, risk and impact analysis, mitigation planning, performing tests, defect management, and RCA. She has worked with software testing tools like Bugzilla, HP Quality Center, TFS, JIRA, ZEPHYR, Apache Trac, Bug Zero, Redmine, SVN, perforce, and VSS, among others. Amika has also identified, analyzed, and tracked defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content. Amika has experience in performing ETL database testing, web testing using NeoLoad & LoadRunner, and manual backend database testing of the PL/SQL programs and scripts. She has used tools like Test Complete, Telerik Test Studio, UIA Automation, and Load UI Pro to perform software testing. In her current role at UBS, Amika manages and mentors a team, responsible for all the software testing practice and process.
